What was the highlight of Melia Costa Atlantis Tenerife
Great location, but this hotel needs a renovation
The hotel is located very well, in front of the sea, near the centre and all the shops. There is a little beach in front of the hotel, but probably you will be not able to swim in the ocean using this beach, because of the very big waves we liked the pool and the fact that there was a towel service. Also, there was a good service from receptionists during our stay. We had a half board option and food was delicious. It is definitely worth to pay some extra for the ocean view.
Pictures of the rooms are not relevant. The furniture, especially armchairs are so old, that they need to be changed asap. The hotel clearly needs renovation, it was founded in 1984. We would not book this hotel, if we’ll know that it is in a such condition.

It’s nice stay for a few nights
The view from the room to the ocean, breakfast, location
The room facilities - no fridge, no kettle, no bathrobes for spa (we got initially room which had connection to the other room so we were hearing neighbours like they were in our room. So we asked to change the room and got a room for disabled people hence we didn’t have any equipment that we had in our first room. Also, spa was disappointing-it was super hot, only one sauna out of 2 was working. The water in the pool was too hot, not worthy paying extra to go to the spa
